. . . and attractive! This little roaster has it all. Big enough to handle a 12-pound whole boneless turkey, this is a fabulous item for singles or a couple.I've had an 18-quart Nesco roaster for the past 10 years, and I still say it makes the best roast turkey of any other cooking method. This smaller 6-quart unit follows the same design principles as its larger counterpart: the heat source surrounds the cooking well, so it acts as a "slow cooker" as well as a roaster. You can cook everything from savory stews to roast vegetables to muffins.
The roaster comes with a small recipe book, but you'll find yourself looking for more recipes. Be sure to check out the many slow cooker recipe sources, and don't be afraid to use your own imagination. After all, clean up is a snap.

Ideal for small families and occasions when kitchen oven space isn't sufficient, this portable 750-watt roaster-oven roasts, cooks, bakes, steams, and slow-cooks any food imaginable--from 150 to 425 degrees F. It's big enough for roasting a small turkey, cooking 6 quarts of chili for the soccer team, baking a loaf of bread, steaming vegetables, or slow-cooking a beef stew. The roaster has an oval, removable, nonstick cooking pan; a domed, vented lid; and a roasting rack with handles so you can lift casserole dishes and baking pans off the bottom. A wraparound heating element ensures even, moist heat.
